Gun Violence

The Issue:

As an ER doctor, I have all too often treated victims of gun violence. From the toddler who accidentally found a parent’s gun to the adolescent who committed suicide to the multiple victims of a mass shooting, I have seen in my professional life how we must take action to address this public health crisis.
I strongly believe we can respect the constitutional right to own a firearm while passing legislation that reduces gun violence and saves lives in our communities.
